Our Story

Why The Wolf in Socks? Wolves are known for their strong bonds, teamwork, freedom, and resilience. Most, if not all of us, will know what it feels like when unexpected events turn our lives upside down. You may have had to accept a new situation or push yourself to the limit to overcome a major obstacle. In my experience, these events can push you to become a stronger version of yourself - even if it doesn’t seem like it at the start.

Here, we believe everyone has an inner wolf. This partnership started when I entered a part of my life where I had to dig deep and use all my strength to adapt to what was happening to me. The Wolf in Socks gave me a focus, an escape, and a link to a group of wonderful people (including you). Sometimes it’s the community around you that helps bring out your inner wolf. The image of a wolf in socks may seem funny, but it’s a reminder that you need to be kind to yourself even as you battle whatever life throws at you. You may be wondering what this has to do with socks. I’ve always loved anything fun and colourful (and sometimes random!) Socks are the perfect way to add a splash of colour to our lives and show a glimpse of our personalities. Whether it’s a fun conversation starter, a way to feel rebellious, break the mould, or match your vibe.

The Wolf in Socks is bringing together like-minded people to join the pack. Yes, we would love for you to admire our products, buy our socks, and support the brand. But we also want to spread the message that you can speak up about whatever you're going through. The reactions may surprise you - much like a pair of bright socks under a business suit! With the support of your pack, your burden can feel lighter. Howling at the moon may not change much, but it sure can make you feel better!

Thank you for reading our story and for your support, whether it be through purchases, interacting with us, telling friends, social media, or the forum. If there is anything that you’d like to ask us, or that you would like to see more of, then let us know.

Much appreciation,

The Wolf in Socks

P.S. Remember that the wolf needs its emotional socks too, it’s better not to go out into the woods alone.
